One million miles on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Even if it’s pure highway miles. I have never heard of any gearbox running 1M miles without a change.

 

No mention of change for this accord.

But some other stuff spoil like radiator, fuel pumps.

Yeah. I heard from taxi drivers that they usually need to send their gearbox for overhaul at around 400+k km.

To each their own, nothing wrong with Korean nor Jap makes. For me, its value and practicality as I have a certain budget to keep to. So with that budget, I go for the one that has bigger boot space, a more fun engine and a lighter car.
