yes it should have separate immigration for each type of transport mode.

if it was the one side clearance system as they mentioned earlier, mean only need to clear both immigration at one point, then it will be faster.

Another thing to mention is that they can already anticipate how many machines, etc are required because the train capacity can be planned as well.

yes, as long as they space out the frequency of each train, they can clear the immigration before the next train arrive.

Similar to KTM arrangement now

only to msia cos msia dun really bother about custom check, returning still have to clear one at msia side and one at sg side.

RTS will not solve human jam

i reckon if RTS is up ... human jam = 2x (double)

this was last weekend

must see timing. By bus

In on Sat morning. Reach Causeway about 7am. Quite alright. Cleared SG in 10 mins ( I went counter cos of my boy), MY is 15mins. The slight jam before reaching is cos many SG cars blocking the bus lane !! [furious]

Out Sun afternoon. Reach 2nd Link about 4.15pm. Cleared MY in 5 mins, SG side about 20mins.

if RTS work like KTM only 1-2 trains per hour ... no point

if RTS work as what it promises ... to ferry 10K people per hour ...

Let's see what laoma gonna say at 3pm. Maybe he will suggest build covered walkway instead. But by the time everyone help themselves to the buffet, the covered walkway may cost more than HSR.....lol
