Spring Moderator January 26, 2019 Share January 26, 2019 The undelined caught my attention - need to pay for engine oil when doing 1k and 10k servicing. Consumers here generally are used to totally free 1k, 10k, and 20k servicing. This one cheapskate enough to beat the cake by taking out the 20k servicing some more. In my opinion, should not try to look generous and yet scrimp on something so minor. Also like trying to use the servicing shortfall to sponsor the free front and rear camera which should be about equivalent in cost. Really look cheapskate imho. To be fair, price seems almost $6k off launch list price but now less 2 yrs warranty n also less off 7 yrs free svc which has been taken away but then again Cat A COE has crept up n with less COE for next few mths, I think not really fair to say they cheapskate but just a tweaking of the package.

Jamesc Hypersonic January 26, 2019 Share January 26, 2019 Give with one hand and take away with the other I wonder who they learnt that from? Anyway Accent 1.4 @ $61,111 is a really good price.

Why not just offer standard par freebies but reduce the huge discount by $500? If the huge discounts are really necessary to attract buyers, might as well remove more fredbies to have even more discount upfront to look even more attractive? Nellie - Hyundai - ð Personally I feel it's ultra competitive pricing. Many don't care about free servicing etc. Give the cheapest price and they did! Accent is priced like an attrage. Remember, Feb to Apr Coe quota will drop. Kmc got balls.
Soya Supersonic January 27, 2019 Share January 27, 2019 What's the catch? Must trade in car at lowball price? Must take 7yr high interest loan? Balloon payment scheme? Or simply teaser price n buyer 100% gotta top up later?
Heartlander Turbocharged January 27, 2019 Share January 27, 2019 Now still got people spent $200 for servicing? One engine oil and one filter need to cost how much?lol... Have, why not? It really depends on how much you value your ride. My colleague judt happily spent > $2000 on 60k servicing for his C class despite my advice that outside reputable workshops cost only half. Your way of servicing is good for those less sophisticated cars.

Your way of servicing is good for those less sophisticated cars. That is major servicing since 60k and did by AD. Normal 10k or 20k who will spend $200 per servicing? If you happen to see how they do your car, you will understand why $200 is expensive. Lol....

C and E class use up 7 litres of synthetic oil per change.

Buyers would rather take outright cash discount than to fork out more for the package.

Club21z 4th Gear January 27, 2019 Share January 27, 2019 Those who have little knowledge on cars, bochap, will spend time and $200 to service at AD. Those DIY who wants value for money and save time will service outside at $50. ↡ Advertisement
