Been using 255/45/18 on my car for the past 14k km and everything feels great. Grip is good and wet performance is great. Passed my personal 99 bends test

Hi looking to change tires, was on stock turanza t001. Planning to try either t005a or F1a5, was quoted 300 and 250 each by a shop near my place. 225/45/19. May I know what's a fair market price and which shop? TIA.

They sold the F1A5 to to me at $190/piece and that was inclusive of GST

Ya I called them the other day and was quoted 192. But I still ended up at tyretrack cos they offer 185 and very close to where I live.

Great, that's an even better deal. I have been using the F1A5  for 1/2 year now and so far no regrets

Goodyear F1 Assy series is very good tyre  

how come always have issue huh especially side wall crack and others  

design problem?

10 years ago i have read a few cases of sidewall cracks in goodyear tyres. My own efficient grip had cracks after slightly over 1 year and i had posted photos in this forum then. Since f1a3 and now f1a5 i have not read about goodyear sidewall cracks. I had also had used 2 sets of f1a3 already and were happy with them. Now not using this series cos trying runflats.

I had used 2 set of GY EfficientGrip performance  and 1 set of AY F1A3 on previous car.

My current set of tyre is F1A5. 

All don't see any cracking on the tyres.

Good to know - am on EG now and due to my very low usage (maybe 5000 a year or less) hope they won't crack too soon!

The sidewall is really thin and flexible.

Tyres with Good Grip sure have Poorer Fuel Economy..
