F10_Blackhawk 4th Gear January 15, 2023 Share January 15, 2023 @ER-3682 Yeah…i might consider that especially when i seldom drive up north. But then it’s a safer option as i have 2 P-plate drivers who occasionally fight to use this car. And there is no spare in the trunk. ↡ Advertisement
Lala81 Hypersonic January 15, 2023 Share January 15, 2023 Went to pump air before cny few days ago. Air pump was reporting my rear tyres at 260-270 kpa and actually deflating my tyres. I thought there might be a gauge error and stopped pumping after one tyre. Today am charged up my xiaomi portable air pump and found the same thing. All my tyres are over inflated by about 6 psi. I usually pump around 230 kpa front 225 rears when tyres are hot (recommended is 225/220 cold). Think here think there, think it's probably my workshop when I did servicing in late November over pumped the tyres. Cos it's definitely not by me, unless my last pump I was using a faulty pressure gauge.
Hamburger Hypersonic January 15, 2023 Share January 15, 2023 I pump 265kpa when my tyres are warm. It will drop to maybe 230kpa when my tires are cooled down.

I pump 36 all round using my Xiaomi.

But now since got portable airpump, much more convenient for sure. Based on online, the baseus pumps faster than xiaomi which my wife complains is a bit slow to help pump our big pool float lol. She uses her own foot pump to pump. Edited January 17, 2023 by Lala81

Volvobrick Supersonic January 17, 2023 Share January 17, 2023 Needing a pair of GY EfficientGrip soon but my regular tyre shop has moved out. Anyone knows the price now for R17 50/225 and recommended shop (one that uses torque wrench and not trying to kill the rims with impact wrench) in Toh Guan area? ↡ Advertisement
