Some specialist clinics in public hospitals have also gone cashless. They really expect elderly patients to use PayLah, NETS, etc. Wonder if govt really wants to make it convenient for people or to enrich third parties that provide the equipment and payment services. Just becoz it works very well in China doesn't mean it'd work here. Having said that, why don't we copy China's pension system?

And why don’t the Politicians here paid like those politicians there too?

Heng Swee Keat: Tan Cheng Bock’s move to form party ‘not unexpected’

In a Facebook post yesterday, Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam also said he bumped into Dr Tan on his usual morning walkabout on Saturday at Chong Pang hawker centre and the nearby coffee shops.

"I told Dr Tan to come more often. I tell this to a lot (of) people - good for business in Chong Pang," he said, adding that he also took a photograph with Dr Tan.

How does using Nets or Paylah enrich third parties? They are all owned by local banks and bank are already charging fees for cash deposit, so cashless is the way to go.

"Rome isn't built in a day"

Ruling party has a 50year head start. What is their strength? Unity, sharing the same goals and in large numbers.

Whatever opposition parties did in the past they just squander away their victories and did not build a good foundation. One of the reasons why ppl will not consider them cos....end up a waste of time and votes.

Appearing just before GE just to smile and shake hands? Provided you have come a long way of building Sgp, eg. like the ruling party. It works for them but not for opposition parties. For goodness sake start doing something more useful than copying what the ruling party is doing.

Dont just form a happy hour party. What's the point of forming so many different opposition parties? Isn't the goal the same? Why so many opposition leaders? Will we get to see an elected opposition leader among the other leaders? To see some kinda unity among the parties? I highly doubt it cos I think the opposition leaders all have their own personal agendas. No, we dont need more critics to form more parties. Leave the criticizing to the public. We also dont need so many alternative voice or checkers or balances.

A long way to go to see some credible opposition parties that ppl will consider them as capable in leading them.

Even own internal people in the party have their own set of problems, not only that, there will always have rotten apples in that party that spoil the party image.

I think that csm will most likely not be in the lineup in wp for the coming GE. If he is still inside, he will be the one that is pulling down the aljunic grc vote count.

Have lah, big banners and pre-arrange walkabout so that MP don't see the wrong stuff or rather don't get confronted with wrong stuff and the cheering team behind. Site visits should be seeing the real things and not a show lah.
