Our manufacturing PMI is nose-diving fast and economic outlook has worsened considerably this year. Hence, potential car buyers will be more cautious. Therefore, I think Cat A stands a good chance of stabilising at around $25k at least until the mid of this year. Budget is more about giving out goodies after taking in all the monies. It includes revised Government revenue and expenditure projections for the current financial year, as well as planned Government revenue and expenditure for the upcoming financial year. Don't remember any mentioned of COE related for past years budget, unless they wanna give out free COE for those low incomes. The last time when it was announced of the 30% and 40% downpayment required for car ownership you know what happened right hahaThey may probably do if they want more votes for the people.
