Is this dish hakka?

I don't see it commonly.

Actually i'm quite curious. I've been gradually hunting down all the famous food stalls in AMK.

And there's one stall with the same name and sell the same thing at Kebun Baru market in AMK ave 1.

It's also popular among AMK residents.

Are they the same operator? Or family members.

I will go one day. But i usually go in the mornings when I'm not eating, so no point dabaoing these type of soupy stuff.

Yes, Hakka dish. More common across the causeway, even the rice wine.

Minced chicken tofu meat cake, Chinese spinach with egg white, mango in the fridge.

For the son, not the father. Peasant can only afford one meal, so son eat father see.

No wonder can never get to 165kg. Sad. [:/][laugh] [laugh]

Originally wanted to eat there, but as there is a change in schedule with my son's activity, have to dabao back, and surprisingly, the Mee Hoon Kuey is still so tender (not harden much or become lumpy) after >40min. The soup also taste very natural, neither salty nor over loaded with MSG.

I will be back (to the stall)...  [laugh]

This is what we call mhk! Not those machine rolled type!
