Good that you like it. I saw you order the mee sua which is also very good. 

I felt that their 卤肉饭 is better than some of those I ate in Taiwan in my recent trip.

BTW, you can park the car at Hotel Boss and walk over. Currently lunch period it had free parking. Had been there 12pm+ twice all free parking.

Dumplings skin will be thicker and taste like those from restaurant like DTF dumplings.

Long story short.

Based on all the good pics in this thread, I went to tabao (1st time) 2 packs of $10 char siew from their Old Airport stall.

Reached home and realized both packets contained pieces of 99% (not joking) fat. We couldn't eat any of them.

This is in my humble opinion intentional. why?

The experience person chopping will under no circumstances NOT know that he is cutting an unwanted strip of pure fat, let alone 2.

There was plenty of other char siew pieces left hanging, so definitely not a question of only leftovers to serve.

Anyway, this is not complain thread... move on and my money goes elsewhere.

Dinner in Madrid at Botin from 10 pm to Midnight. Really good. Must try if you are in Madrid.

Dec 2019, had a very nice lunch at Summer Palace, Regent Hotel Singapore. 

The menu was:

1. Amuse Boche

2. Dim Sum Platter

3. Superior Chicken Soup (Stone Bowl)

4. Crispy suckling pig

5. Stewed Lobster with Ee Fu noodles

6. Trio of dessert 

I made a video of the lunch too.
