Renault is not progressing at all. Engine failures in the first 2 races. Both cars out in the same corner. I will never buy a Renault which explains a lot with how their F1 team are managed.

Merc is bloody lucky to score max points as they have no answer for Ferrari's pace. Have to wait for the report on what happen to Charles's engine and Seb's mysterious handling issue.

Williams looks like they are using F2 cars to race in F1. Not sure if they should continue as all their drivers end up not getting any drives for the next season or doomed their career.

Ferrari need to thank Renault for their 3rd place. ð

It was Max's for the taking.

That's Renault's way of getting back at RB! LOL

Alonso with Honda engine last season cannot make it ... keep complaining it worst than GP2

Verstappen with Honda engine this season ... almost challenge ferrari for podium in bahrain

so ... Honda engine is good ...  it is Red Bull team > Mclaren team? [sly][laugh]

Can't really read too much into it, cos he got his headline timing using the C5 tyres that are 2 grades softer than everyone else.

true lah ... on one hand its nice to see youngsters follow their father's footsteps into F1, but I think its gonna be really stressful for him to try to match what M Schu achieved.

still wish him the best though.

Totally agreed, the stress level must be awful for Mick.

Many weren't as good as their dads and fell by the wayside. See Jolyon Palmer and Nelson Piquet for recent examples.

Max not so jialat, cos his dad Jos in his heydays was not really top tier  [:p]

yeah, when I made the trip to Sepang years ago Jos was still in the Orange Arrows.

Max is doing well and seems to be cooler and calmer (so far) this season.

guess Mick will secure a seat in Ferrari F1 if he does well, Ferrari also need to plan for their future post-Vettel. Guess all drivers would like to drive and win with Ferrari once during their F1 career.

guess F1 also needs to have some new challengers. so far Norris and Leclerc look like the young guns this season.

and if Sauber could give Kimi a better package ...  [thumbsup]

To match or get near to his dad racecraft is one thing. To be as ruthless as his dad is another thing. There are many drivers with good racecraft but few is ruthless like Michael. People may argue Michael is not the best as he is cheater and blah blah. Few can deny being ruthless is what that made Michael and even Senna cementing their position as legends in the sport.

Motor racing - Unprecedented short-circuit cost Leclerc victory in Bahrain

REUTERS: Charles Leclerc missed out on his first Formula One victory in Bahrain last weekend because of an unprecedented short-circuit in an injection system control unit, his Ferrari team said on Friday.

The 21-year-old Monegasque driver will be able to use the same power unit in China next week, round three of the championship.

That's why CH said Renault gives Redbull problems regardless they are in, or out, of their (Redbull) cars.

Neutral Newbie

I just hope for greater reliability in motorsports so that results can be based on skill rather than luck and for more of the technology to be applied to their production cars for consumers like us to enjoy.
