Actually same here.

i put them in a watch winder. So the never ending question, should we let the watches stop and completely wind down if we are not wearing or continue to let it run in a watch winder. Which will be better?

i like to put them in a watch winder and when i need it, i just take it out and wear them, as i don't have to reset and rewind the watches again and again. {that's me}

Nah, dont worry, watches are not cakes, they wont go bad so quickly.

however if you left it since March 2002, the oils within may coagulate.  All you need to do is to run it regularly again and it will be fine
