Yeahh but maybe forged wheel save u extra ~1kg n u paying much higher, depends if u feel worth it. If yours a track car then diff

Ya very slight concaved, i saw bef 15-16" rim on honda got more concaved i wonder how they achieve it. As u need big width/lower offset.

Maybe i shld go with my pockets

some 19'' bbs forged are 8-9kg, so u save about 4 kg per rim over a cast rim. but the price is sky high!!!

So when i heard nurburgring was 3999, i was quite keen. but like u, doesnt come in the color i wanted. only black and silver and the weight saving isnt significant

end up chose bbs CHR in grey.

So how much u paid for the bbs chr?

Yeah dilemma cos of the color, if really.got the color i want no need think liao.

19*9.5j, 3800, rim + tyre + trade in. save 200 haha

oh nurburgring was 19*8.5j, less concave

any particular TSW model?

i was checking on 19'' TSW nurburgring, rotary forged. was about 10.5kg. wasn't too impressed

I thought forged should go under 10kg for 19''

19'' BBR CHR is flow formed and weighs 11kg

so depends on the design you like and what are u looking for in a rim

If its a "proper" forge wheel and not some Pretend forge wheel as in using a hybrid of single piece of metal and blend with another, you should go with forge for strength and rigidity.

There is always a but...

But this means when it breaks, you buy new wheels.

Flow form can be somewhat repair, but the risk of damage is high, so you also have to replace, but at least it bends and allows you that short distance for you to come to a halt.

forge is more brittle. when u hit a port hole hard enough like NSHW, may crack.

I fitted BBS RI-A 18" $4,500.00 Staggered..on my M240i..

hmm that sounds cheap for bbs forged

I must have asked for another model. could be FIR, about 10k

oh really? i didn't know

That’s for rims only or for tyres and rims?

Price looks cheap, was expecting close to 10k for the entire set.

ok and here lies the definition of strong

A rubber band is stronger than a brick when it deflect and hits the floor without breaking vs a brick

So as long as the piece flex, its suppose to be stronger. When the piece break, its not as strong.

Unlike what we normally imagine as in IF it still retain its shape but has crack is stronger than one that bends or deforms slightly.

I am biased since I went for tsw.

But imo performance and specs wise OZ wins. However, will u actually feel the benefits? The diff is marginal ~1kg/wheel lighter or so.

Otoh tsw is unique and rare in Sg. OZ see everywhere. So I'd rather go for tsw since lets face it, majority of appeal of rims is to stand out.

I'll prefer OZ.

TSW is little known here and sounds like SSW Taiwan rim.

OZ has better resale too.

Price/weight performance ratio, OZ is hard to beat.

Nice. Can share what ride you driving? 1.7k is decent. Previously was quoted 2688 after trade in for Bathurst. @_@
