SINGAPORE: Tasked to go on a last-minute overseas trip, former bank executive Andy Tang tried to find a money changer that was open and near his home late at night, but was unable to do so.

10 currencies ..... that’s quite a lot of currencies for a start , dunno if what will happen when he runs out of certain notes , most likely big notes only...... going around and topping up .... he must have a good real time software too

No, it seems he knows airport is 24/7 but he says the rates are not reasonable.

 

But Mustafa is 24/7 and quite reasonable. And how far can a central location really be from anywhere else in sg?

If the amount change is only a few hundred SGD. Not worth the effort to travel to Mustafa. The amount spend traveling there, drive, grab or taxi already more than the different compare to changing in the airport.

If traveling to country like Thailand, Vietnam... The rate there are better.

he is rite though airport rates are no good. But how much will one change  ....... most of the time a few hundred to  a few K .

Create news lah... in this day and age, where got difficult to find good rates one? With credit cards, don't even need cash in many countries.
