So when I drive manual I will switch to 1st gear and coast down the slope. Even if I press the wrong pedal it will only rev but the speed cannot go beyond a certain speed.

Absolute worst case I press the clutch and it just free wheel down but it won't accelerate.

When I drove auto I will switch to low gear so no matter what pedal I press it can only go so fast.

Bro....driving down slope in a manual car is best in 2nd gear!

Bro....driving down slope in a manual car is best in 2nd gear!

? First gear the car will go down at a controlled speed without much need for footbrake. Second gear is better but you need to control with footbrake.

But I understand what you mean. The rev can go high during the dowbslope time but OK la. Go down only a short while only.
