the car was going quite fast and did not prepare to stop or even slow down.

Actually this goondu had one chance to avoid accident after braking. But still insist to cut in after that. This case clear cut kena claim 100% plus foot own damages. I think it’s also partially the cars fault, the car use the emergency stopping lane to undertake the cyclist and it was quite last minute too. When the car exited he squeezed out the cyclist and then the motorcycle. Dunno why he can’t just overtake from the right Edited August 7, 2019 by Mercury1

actually more like never check side mirror and blind spot changing lane. The bus so big, if got check blind spot or side sure can see the bus.

Maybe is already see the bus, just that poor judgement. Thought is super close but will still be able to jump infront of the bus. But then..

Looks like along Flora Road.

 

Think motorist just nice blocked from view of SUV driver turning out.

 

Hope he's not badly injured. Good for motorist to slow down and have eye contact with driver of car turning out to make sure driver saw him approaching. On hindsight, SLOW down. That few seconds can help motorist to brake on time.

 

On hindsight, always safer to check its clear on LEFT, RIGHT and FRONT to move out from side road.

Around 8-9 second since traffic light turned red and she keep on driving, either she was color blind/or fully blind, looking at phone, looking at wrong traffic light, got fainted for 9 seconds as she did came out after accident.

 

With respect to bus I am not sure as it seems road was clear for him to take turn, cam car view is not able to show how much space there was between rider and bus (anyway base on LTA/Bus service timing all these driver are under tremendous stress to reach on or before time).

Rider was at the back all the time, SUV was waiting at stop line for quite a while but last minute failed to see if it is clear and just went out by thinking other car turning it is ok to move out.
