Any recommendation for Mazda 3 2015 hb? Currently having a really old non android aftermarket. Went to check around, ppl charging 1k for installation. 

Seems pretty easy to do, plug and play from what i read. Not gona pay 1k for plug and play.

You need the following item

HU ( Depends )

Harness (Taobao have alot of plug and play harness) which cost like $6-10

Faceplate ( Taobao max about $20?)

My Taobao head unit finally gave way after 2 years lol. Now the touchscreen hang from time to time.

I bought an Android head unit from Pumpkin, it works great!

The unit is user friendly and has awesome features. Everything is great and it is very responsive, as for a cheap unit itself.

Last week, found out that 1 of the hardware buttons is stuck. Used screwdriver to knock it out. Now the head unit is behaving like new... overall still happy with a 100+ head unit with apple CarPlay

2 Years passed. My $150 China HU is still surviving but I upgraded to a better unit. Arriving tonight!

- 9 inch QLED Display 1200x780 display 

- Wireless CarPlay

- DAC quality audio 

- Linux powered, I avoid androids one as I heard horror stories about it

Do they also sell the needed harness and faceplate for various car types?

cannot. It’s clean Linux system. That’s why it is reliable and almost 0 boot up time.

setup once pair Bluetooth. The next time you enter the vehicle it will auto connect to your iPhone with CarPlay.
