Mobile Phone plan help needed

I don't use a mobile phone and my missus only uses a couple of dollars worth of whatever a month.

But she just told me that M1 are scrapping nearly all of their 19 mobile plans and reducing them to just two, the cheapest of which cost S$25 per month.

Is this correct.

She said Singtel and Starhub already do this.

Is there a Mobile Plan with any provider which would suit her small usage.

Thanks.

yes, M1 has streamlined their plans but existing contracts will just run on.

questions

1. how much talk time per month ?

2. how much data per month ?

3. roaming required ?

4. contract or no-contract plan preferred ?

5. prefer free caller ID I suppose ....

1.  I'd one hour maybe 2hour at the most.

2. Difficult say 500Mb

3. No roaming

4. No contract

5. Don't think she bothers with caller id

what kinds of numbers does she call? house/fixed/land lines or other mobile phones?

if exclusively mobile phones, is it a regular call or a call via an app, for example WhatsApp?

Wow...that’s so liberating. Most people these days are slaves to their phones. I can forget my wallet but never the phone. Feel insecure without it ....

I will get rid of my phone when I retire.

And then stay in all day and enjoy my home

You can change to these plans (at similar tier).

would look at the plans offered by one of the MVNOs then, doubt the 3 telcos have plans for very light users these days.

Starhub has is a Welcome plan for $8 with 1 GB and 50min outgoing call, but not sure if it needs to be tie to any regular plan line.
