I will get rid of my phone when I retire.

And then stay in all day and enjoy my home

You can change to these plans (at similar tier).

I just contract, can meh?

Isn’t the old contract better value? I am paying $45 for 35gb of data plus 100 mins call and 100 sms. But new plan, at abt $40 I get 22gb instead. Not sure it’s more worth it or not.

Do note there's admin fee of $50

Ya registration fee.

But if it's one time and regular usage is so low, why not

In long run, this plan is better than prepaid card, cause prepaid has validity date and needs to top up to extend usage. Some people really usage low until no need to top up often. Then the card would be expired liao.

At present,  Singtel prepaid can extend validity for 150 days for as low as $2.39.  The minimum top-up is $5.

An ideal combination would probably be any prepaid paired with TPG.

Eh... which normal plan is $0 ?

For myself,  if it is not for retaining the number, the Singtel Prepaid it is a P.I.T.A.to followup.  [laugh]

same feeling i have one month after paying $44k for my COE. :a-bang::a-bang::XD::XD:

anyway due to super low usage, i still keep my M1 zero plan for my mom.

You bought up a good point, most car owners write of new car depreciation at least $1k to $1.5k per MONTH, letting alone the fuel and many other expenses, here we feel heartache about $20 more expenses per month. Our financial priority seems wrong. Haha

I dunno. Don't have the old one on hand to direct compare. The new one is a build-your-own setup so it's also harder to find direct comparisons.
