Wow! That was unexpected ... the question is if the announcement of the withdrawal of the bill was done with the full support of China or she felt a heavy sense of responsibility to withdraw the bill to prevent more violence in the next few days. 

However, this sets a precedent for China (if they had agreed to withdraw the Bill) that with sustained protests and violence, they will accede to the protesters' demands. The protesters will stay out there and ensure even more chaos to see how far they can push the boundaries. If protests are sustained, they may send in the troops in view that there was no intent in stopping the protests despite the withdrawal of the Bill thereby justifying intervention. I do hope that protesters see the opportunity to stand down and de-escalate the situation on both sides.

Yes that's what I would do too. 

I will put some mainland undercover police officers as violent protesters and policeman to pretend to be press photographers to take photos of the "violent protesters" and put on social media for everyone to see. 

Then I will send the army in. 

Of course I will only use officers who speak in the sing song Honkie accent. 

So the real non violent protesters cannot tell they are mainland undercover cops. 

This was the mistake Beijing made the last time. 

Oh and no police warrant card and I love HK police t shirts in their bags. 

That's another give away.

a nationwide china law will be temporary introduced to hk after china intervention, aggressive opposition will be sent across to mainland for trial.

Hopefully it will stop the violence and peace restored. 

The stock markets surging may be an indication that someone or a group of ppl are happy or appeased with this decision. 

Kiddos are easy to manipulate by the paymasters and drama directors, will now return to washing machines, i mean, schools for more brain washing. 

Its a victory for HK! China lost! 😅 Till the next protests or 50th year, which comes first.
