It is so sad to see such things happening to HK our neighbour. Their supposed educated young behaving like mobsters without brain. It is also a very good lesson for all and neighbouring countries to show their citizens how these people riots and damages to their own country. instead of flashing how police trying to provide peace to public which I am very sure would the the only way they would have done to restore peace.

They are desperate.

If majority of HKers stay home, it will be easier to catch the real rioters whose aim is just to create chaos. Democracy is just an excuse.

Generally the hardcore and small group of rioters are the ones using violence. This small group is attempting to cause alot of inconveniences and peaceful way of life for the majority.

Stay home pls! Violence must be put down regardless outcome of protests.  Court's injunction and police's ban on protests must be respected otherwise slapping own face for wanting rule by law. In fact, alot of youth must look at their faces in the mirrors. All puffed up with pride and disrespect for the rest of society. Clothed with flags of democracy, they incite violence and insist on their own ways of life, one that is impulsive and  seemingly noble. Its actually a worthless death wish ahead on this road. No one will appreciate the state of destruction left over from violence.

A good and peaceful Sunday all. We must learn from these youthful zeroes. No understanding of history, heart of ungratefulness and brains left too long in washing machines, cycle after cycle. Until so white and blank, like a piece of paper, anyone can write upon their minds what they want or dictate.

Freedom! Yet they despise and will not hesitate to attack those who do not agree with them. Their freedom is greater than everyone's elses. Theirs alone is true freedom? The future of HK belongs only to them? HK must be sacrificed for them?

I hope peace return to HK. And if possible, no meaningless death(s) in its wake.

Just yada-ing

Safe ride

Cheers

The Prince Edward MTR Station police brutality incident last night.

This is the full video of the incident. Most videos circulating online will have the first half edited away to sell the story. Black shirts nowadays also change shirt color upon hearing police arrival. As to who is innocent and who is troublemaker I leave you to judge for yourself.

Those rioters claimed they are fighting for the freedom of all Hong kong people, but those people that they claimed to be fighting for don't even want them to be in the same cabin.

That is so sad...

They had derailed from what they were fighting for and still insisting they are on the right track.

nobody seen this news?

And everyone say CL is the problem. In actual fact CL was never the problem. There is a bigger story behind the stage. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Hah i thought it was very obvious even without any report. Remember reports were that CL wanted to step down, but Beijing refused.

China does want more control over HK. At least allowing them to legally pick up people they want to arrest (without resorting to shadowy means).
Actually it's just logical, how can 1 country with 2 very different systems not have some sort of integration before the 50 years is up. And it's almost at the halfway mark already. But the leaders in Beijing and HK underestimated how much an uproar it would cause. From the repeated speeches by Beijing, it's clear they don't really understand this rebel son/daughter of theirs. It's like generational gap [:p]

The most obvious sign was MFA spokesperson said that Sino-British Joint Declaration was an historical document.

Well they won't give what you want. If Beijing doesn't understand what the protesters want (or at least pretend it doesn't), then similarly, the protesters don't understand Beijing or the geopolitical situation as well.

Who is the winner of HK riots

By an Ang Mo by the name of Hans Otto Kroeger

HK protests (and riots) have the full attention of all western media. The western media wanted some blood to run. They predicted a Chinese intervention and a “massacre”, and told us, before anything happened, that China certainly would intervene and cause a massive bloodbath; they also told us, in bold headlines, the first “martyr” and at a closer look it seems he fell from a building while unfolding a banner. So, obviously there is to little blood to make a story that western media can sell to their stupid audience. So, they call for more blood, they call for a Chinese intervention, but nothing happens. So, when nothing happens there are no news.

On the other hand, what the protesters demand is not reasonable, is illogical, given the special administration for HK. Published in a western media as a “claim for liberty and democracy” sounds ridiculous even to a brainwashed western capitalism supporter. They can’t do that anymore. So, sorry, but your “protests” won’t get attention anymore, capitalism lost, and lost in a ridiculous way, as they “invested” in a speculative intervention of the “very, very evil Chinese communists” (that would be the “after facts” statement of Donald Trump).

Who is the general winner after those protests? Obviously the Chinese government and the Chinese Communist Party. Who are the losers? Hong Kong - no longer will it be considered a safe haven for capital; UK, and US, who invested money and trust into the hope of a military intervention from China, and just the opposite happened. Now what? Neither Trump, nor CIA, nor the UK government can sustain anymore their ridiculous statement of the “very, very evil Chinese communists”: The statement went simply ridiculous. Xi Jinping never will say it, because he is a well educated man; but: Mister Trump; Mister Pompeo; Mister Abrams; Mister Bolton; Lords of England: You are the losers in this battle, and you lost miserably without even the need for anyone of us to raise a hand! You have been trapped in your own mousetrap!

Who is the winner? China and CCP. Really?

They are the winners?

Then they should say thank you to the protesters and ask them to protest more.

Since its so good for them.

😀

This ang moh really taking nonsense.

I think winner is the wrong word to use. Victor will be more appropriate.

Without fulfilling people basic need, it’s hard for the rioters to see the big picture.

Mine personal thought, those reporters are trouble starters ...... :serious-business:

If 'she' doesn't gone to the front to film the man in white, she would be pushed and there after, fights... :lll._.:
