What you are doing is worse than communists that we used to hear. You are becoming what you despise. Think about it.

1950-1953: China supports North Korea against U.S.-backed South Korea in the Korean War. At least 100,000 Chinese “volunteers” die.

1958-1961: The Great Leap Forward attempts to catapult China into the modern industrial age by collectivizing agriculture and creating steel in “backyard furnaces.” An estimated 30 million people, mostly peasants, starve to death.

Maybe CCP is still the champion....unconquerable, invincible...🏆

You aware that the people who die are the chinese in the 2 examples you quoted? At least the people die willingly for the cause, most of them i would think, not due to people been killed because of difference in opinion.

The human instinct to survive is our most powerful drive, yet there are people who die willing....the powerful influence of communism unbelievable...great leadership of CCP...👍

With all these violence, i wonder what else ST needs to report about protesters claim of brutality by police. Even reporters were from HK, they are not giving an accurate account of the situation.  ST should sack them. I am sure we don't want such reporters here in Singapore reporting the same about Singapore police right?

Nobody here will know the specifics except those living in HK now.

My HK friends sent me this handy link. Locals use this map to track real time activities especially police movements. Nothing much to see on weekdays but it'll light up like fireworks on weekends. Hope it helps.

Got a relative in hkg... Working at 7-11 ...last week just witness the attack on the bank just opposite her outlet.

Riots? What are you talking about! There is only police brutality and suppression by HK Government and the evil boss behind. All kenna brainwashed by political propaganda, is it? Read less fake news & reports. Try to filter and look for un-biased news by the west.

Avoid the police then you only see peace. If happen to come across, whack them for good. Safe trip.

I got a show to recommend to the HKPF ... since the protesters like USA so much,  the HKPF should watch the new Watchmen series!!  Very educational!

Now HK govt will "consider" COI if ppl is not happy with police watchdog report

https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/politics/article/3034655/hong-kong-government-will-consider-commission-inquiry

Out of the blue, govt announces Police Commissioner is leading a delegate to a conference in Shenyang.  En route, he will stop by Beijing to pay a visit to Public Security Bureau and HKMAO.  Stephen Lo is retiring next month and no announcement of his replacement YET.

https://www.thestandnews.com/politics/事前無公布-盧偉聰訪京晤公安部港澳辦/

Yesterday, it was announced that Lau Sir will end his current contract with HKPF by this Thursday.  In Jul, it was said that his contract is for 6 mths.  Now, it is "changed" to 3+3= 6.

https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/politics/article/3035246/former-police-deputy-commissioner-brought-out-retirement

Rather than no warrant card no police service number, PTU is required to put a sticker to identify which platoon it belongs to.

Let's see whether HKPF will soften its enforcement in coming weeks.

Political discussion should start in June and NOT when local election is less than 1 mth away.

Other than 1 district that is uncertain yet, there is NOT a single walkover this time.  This is HISTORIC.

When can the Chinese get a proper government?

The KMT were afraid of infiltrated locals as are the CCP now.

Same Ah Tiong recipe for disaster.

Now if you are a current PRC affluent,  you will find the CCP penchant to communist your property and wealth, unacceptable.

Therefore the CCP cannot exist much longer,  an evolution has to take place.

无有怕,鼎硬上,打死罢就。
