Jamesc Hypersonic June 14, 2019 Share June 14, 2019 (edited) I encourage everyone to go into healthcare. I myself work in a health centre. But it's not easy work. It's a strain on the back and it's dirty and oily work. I forgot to add unsociable hours as well. Night time have to work. Weekends have to work. And some ladies are very demanding. Take advantage and ask me to rub extra places. Edited June 14, 2019 by Jamesc
Throttle2 Supersonic June 14, 2019 Share June 14, 2019 want to know the magic bullet ? 6 months later, the figure will be reverse. Reason is EVEN IF the unemployed is still looking for a job, it will be assumed that they have decided to "retired" and the numbers are taken off the stats. When that happen the unemployment number goes down and the employment rate has improved. A better way of measurement would be to use big data and actual "pulse beat " of the country. Welcome welcome to join my unemployed brotherhood society When a person is retrenched, does it mean it is all the person's fault? When the knife falls, those that happens to be on the wrong side of the salary scale will have to go. The more senior you are, the higher the salary scale within the band, without being able to cross over to the next management level, you are open season for the pencil pushing finance looking to cut cost. On the contrary, when a person is retrenched, it is clearcut that it is not the fault of that person. Therefore these people are compensated.

Sdf4786k Twincharged June 14, 2019 Share June 14, 2019 Actually, company that retrenched has one flaw. The leaders only think of themselves. When times are bad, just cut. Will you give your kids away, just because they have bad grades or send for adoption agencies because times are bad ? Food for thought.

As long as you are an employee, regardless of rank and position, you are a pawn. Thats the bottomline at the end of the day. So never be too emotional, its just business.
Weez911 Supersonic June 14, 2019 Share June 14, 2019 Add another advice here... If you are not happy with your life.... Send love letters...... Misery loves company... I can totally understand why a sore loser is hurt, but when a party enjoyed significantly more vote shares than 2015, and having 82 out of 88 MP seats in parliament (93%), they are still forcing down their views on the minority. I really can't stand a sore winner.
Staff69 Hypersonic June 14, 2019 Share June 14, 2019 (edited) Just helping out anyone looking for a job. Just apply for this company...can vouch for the company bosses. The best I have seen around. The family is deep in their Christian faith and truly preaches what they say. Vacancy happened due to manager retiring from job and he been with them for 30 plus years. Business is recession proof so just needs to be internet marketing savvy On the other side of the spectrum. A business acquaintance from overseas who owns The top 2 company in his country is setting up shop here. It be a game changer once they start the ball rolling. Ps. He's know to pay top dollars for top talents So if someone ask me if there's a recession coming, my answer would be I dont know. If it comes , things might slow down a bit but it wont stop the world from moving. I too be bring something new to the market Fortune is only for those that seek it aggressively Edited June 14, 2019 by Staff69
Scion Turbocharged June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 PHV means you have a job. You not one of the unemployed. Helps to take the heat off the grid on the employment data. try asking WSG and you probably be amazed by the answer. If you dont take the PHV job, you consider choosy and reluctant to change and no one owe you a living. actually i'm thinking.... in times of a full recession, when there's lots of retrenchment, and many of them turn to PHV PHV supply goes up on the other hand, demand for PHV goes down because people tend to be more prudent during a crisis... they probably do more BMW (bus, MRT, walk)? it will also hard to earn a living via PHV, so cannot expect PHV as a backup of reliable income during recession
Solar Turbocharged June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 There's a reason why companies starting to get more contractors instead of perm role. Because when times are bad, they just cut the contract staff and dont need to pay retrenchment benefits and worry about the emotional roller coaster ride of working with the person for 10 years and doing the deed. Yup, thats true, but sometimes its also new bosses wants to bring in his old team from the last company, so while you are cut from the workforce, it may not be the case of bad performance, just preference for same group of cronies that he used to hang out with. And common with certain race...
