JK made a number of changes and would say the replacements acquitted themselves well. Origi loves to play vs Everton. A pulsating first half. 4-2 up at first time, and could have been more. 209752648026519 3rd Gear December 5, 2019 Share December 5, 2019 Watch the game this morning before coming to office. Entertaining game to watch with LFC on the front foot from the minute get go. A bit laid back in the 2H though. Credit to Everton being positive and play open football. Sadio Mane as the lone striker playing across our regular front three but did not disappoint. 2 Assist and 1 Goal (should have scored a hat trick though). Origi and Shaq were quite impressive despite the limited playing time they have. Lallana, I thought did well filling in the midfield while giving Henderson, a well deserved break. In the ideal world, we want to score 2 goals in the first 10min then follow by a third goal before halftime. Then we pass the ball around for 2nd half and send some youngster to run out in the 70th min. Before we compare this team with Rodgers' all attacking side, the current batch has a clinical edge and the will to grind out results. With 2 box to box supporting the 3 forwards and 2 full backs moving into midfield along side our defensive mid, we are almost playing like 1950s 2-3-5 fomation or at times MW formation.
