Turbocharged

A relatively routine win with a clean sheet (did not have it for a long time). JK made a number of changes as well.

Could have a few more.
Hope the injury to Lovren is not too bad.

Managed to give Mane a rest as well.

BR must be feeling on top of the world.

All pundits and journalist sang praise until he is the answer to all doubts.

Yawn....

Leicester always the same.

New manager come in play like champions can even win the League.

After a while stop playing and suddenly the manager gets sacked

and new manager comes in and start again.

Watched last night's game only for the second half. First thought was that Klopp is using a 4-2-3-1 with Salah operating up front albeit leaning to the right to create space for Ox. It was after quite a while before i realised Ox is a direct replacement for Mane and Firminho is actually playing.

Strange that the two brazillians are rather anonymous in the game. Allison must feel bored and maybe they are missing Fabinho.

Good to see the team controlling the game at ease after going 3 goals up and saving some legs for upcoming fixture pile-up. Maybe VVD needs a rest soon. I guess the plan was always to sub TAA mid of second half but Lovren disrupted Klopp's plan.

Curtis Jones looks very calm and composed for an 18 yr old. Future captain material.

Good 3 points!

Klopp does not like to bring in players in the Jan window

but Jadon Sancho is desperate to leave Dortmund.

Klopp wanted to get him but City refused to sell to an English club.

And because of his good relations with Dortmund I think Sancho will come to Pool in January.

Bou looks like already beaten before taking to field. When ake went off, the will totally collapse. When wilson came off. Can close shop liao. No pressing beyond their third.

I think hendo, vvd and Gomez/lov had very high pass completion playing among themselves.

Our wing backs are always in their half.

Easy plucking for us. Without need to shift gears.

The new artillery long pass has proven effective against bou for Alex and everton for origi. A good evolution, done with different players

Now teams will be apprehensive to match us for high press or drop deep.

We have more tools in the kit to deal with different scenarios. Best signing ever. Jürgen Norbert Klopp

Ask most people who watch Liverpool on a regular basis to name a weakness in Jürgen Klopp relentless winning machine and, when pressed, they will likely give an answer which mentions 'squad depth'.

The theory goes that Liverpool's first eleven is the best in the world, but that the understudies behind their illustrious starters represent a significant gap in quality of output and influence on football matches. Plenty will tell you that Manchester City's squad is bigger, better, and more adept at dealing with absentees than Liverpool's. Those people are wrong.

Klopp's annual period of winter rotation commenced on Wednesday night with five changes against Everton, and continued on Saturday as the manager replaced seven members of the team that started in the derby victory. Until this week, neither Naby Keita nor Xherdan Shaqiri had started a Premier League match this season, Divock Origi's last Premier League goal was in August, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hadn't scored a league goal since January 2018.

In the space of two matches, those four players have revitalised their individual seasons and proven that Klopp's squad is far bigger and more talented than most would give it credit for. Victories over the Blues and the Cherries might seem like foregone conclusions on the face of it, but coming in from the cold and playing in team with teammates who haven't been able to build up any rhythm themselves necessitates an ability to adapt instantly and perform on demand.

Origi, Shaqiri, Keita and Chamberlain haven't just helped Liverpool win two matches this week. Those four have been the driving force behind the Reds pummelling two opponents into submission. Origi's crisp finishes, Shaqiri's dovetailing role between midfield and attack, Keita's clean use of the ball around the penalty area, and Chamberlain's goal threat have all been distinguished and expertly executed.

I said it before and I will say it again.

If you attack Man City they will leak goals.

If you put 10 men in your box and try to defend for your life and let them control the ball

they will kill you.

More teams need to attack Man City and not just admire how they move the ball around.

Man City players have lost confidence.

Last time they felt they cannot be beaten and that gave them so much confidence they played like champions.

Now they are scared and play as if they feel they can be beaten.
