Liverpool 1-nothing Everton

Another continued win despite new coach Ancelotti coming on board.

Young team winning despite Everton fielding full team.

What a goal by the teenager!

Good to see the second best team on merseyside beating a more senior team..

Lets hope Milner is not seriously injured!

Turbocharged

A brilliant all round performance by the team.

At times we rode our luck, but still have enough to win the game with the added bonus of a clean sheet.

We progress into the 4th round (tie to be played later this month).

Based on their performance tonight, I believe the lads warrant another outing.

The best possible outcome, lads get big game time, beat our neighbors, first teamers have 1week plus rest..... Only downside, injury to JM7

YNWA.

Was not sure that Klopp would ring the changes, as he said will take it seriously, but good to see the lads given a chance to prove their worth again - and boy, did they take it...

When Adrian had to make those few saves - even he had the opportunity to show that he's ready and capable - i was thinking it's possibly another shitty domestic cup night, not unlike villa...

But it was to the boys' credits that they could keep their composure and also keep everton in check, and of course also to spring some attacks together that balanced things out.

And as the game wore on, it looked like we were going to stay the course longer and could boss things more.

The goal capped a great match to showcase what the kids could do.

Hope our Mr durable will not be out too long, and hope that the rest of the walking wounded would be back soon, just like Ox. And hope that we will continue our relentless march towards our goals this season.

Next up would be Spurs, right? Hope our good run resumes.
