We are 13pts ahead and with one game in hand?

Most team played  21 games while we played 20.

Just realised the west ham game was postponed then.

Am I too cautious?
leicester has 39 points now. Assumed it killed off everyone for the rest of the season ( remaining 20 matches), it will get max 99 points.
that means Pool must get 50 points from now onwards (49 pts + 50), which means to win the league pool must win starting from game 18 onwards 17 matches.

i will start to count till 17 from now.

13 wins  out of 18 matches to wrap up the season.

Mane was crowned African footballer of the year.

Salah - who won the last 2 years - didn't attend the ceremony and instead stayed back for training... I hope he's not unhappy and the two will continue to play well and each other and the team too.

Nike deal, heavily weighted on merchandise sales. its literally performance based contract. 20% cut on POS of mechandise vs 5% on current kit deals

We must be successful to generate the figures... but i think Minamoto already paid his release clause. Now we need to Sign Son or the other one from red bull

Ridiculous Man United & Liverpool wage comparison, with Luke Shaw earning more than Reds full-backs combined

David de Gea is their top earner by some distance despite a recent dip in form, raking in as much as £375,000 a week, while the perpetually injured and generally underwhelming Paul Pogba is in second place with wages of £290,000 a week.

Even crazier perhaps is Luke Shaw taking home as much as £150,000 a week, especially when you compare it with wages for Liverpool’s full-backs.

LFC numbers – also available on Spotrac – show that one of the club’s finest performers of recent times, Trent Alexander-Arnold, only earns £40,000 a week, or less than a third of what Shaw makes. Meanwhile, Andrew Robertson, surely a much better left-back than Shaw, is only earning £50,000 a week.

Combined, that’s £90,000 a week being spent on two of the finest full-backs in world football at Anfield, while at Old Trafford ageing converted full-back Ashley Young, now most often seen on the bench, is on £120,000 a week.

There are numerous other shockers, almost too many to mention, but Nemanja Matic taking home £120,000 a week, more than players like Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum, is also particularly laughable.

Understand that Mo chose not to attend to express his frustration with his country's FA who will be awarded the Best FA in the same ceremony. Over the years, Mo has several run ins with his FA. His absence has nothing to do with Mane's crowning.

Yup, read that also. If that's the actual/real reason, then all's good.

Apart from Mane and Salah, Matip was also nominated. If Keita could stay injury-free and continues showing good performances, then maybe Pool got hope to dominate the African's POTY awards for years...

If Minamino develops well and become another monster of a player for the team, then hopefully Jap support for Pool will bring in the $$, and maybe Pool can also boast Asian POTY. If got Korean - and China - support too, wah, got chance can fight with Barca/RM for revenue...
