Totally agree. They should have been the model for the kids....but played like schoolboy. Our passings and defense were lousy. Liverpool were especially sloppy after we were leading 0-2.

The best part is Klopp just announced the replay he will rest all senior players as its during the winter break ... replay is being scheduled then

 

and he won’t be managing the game as well...lol

Domestic cups have lost their appeals. Unless they link the winner to tangible rewards like entry ticket for UEFA etc...

The players returning from injuries - Fabinho, Lovren and Matip all looked super rusty. Fabinho gave the ball away so many times which is unlike him.  Lovren making all the basic errors which gave his doubters a field day of criticism. Matip did ok but not as assuring in his displays when he played besides VVD. 

Mane will be out for the visit to West Ham and against Saints at the weekend.  He is expected to be back immediately after the "winter break" for the game against Norwich.  Not the best outcome but at least he only misses 2 real competitive games for Pool.  

I reckon no further movements in the transfer window from now until the close this Friday.
