Stupid salah poor touch if not can one on one

Indeed.... Salah's touch can b frustratingly poor at times. I tink he seem to lose the ball the most among the team.

Basically Pool has been naive... they play right into AM hands.

it is very clear that the 2nd half strategy from AM is to break Pool's momentum by falling down easily, waiting for Pool to shackle them, etc, get some free kick ...just to start-stop-start-stop the game and spoil the flow.  Every AM player falls like they have been kick on their face, but the moment the free kick is given, they stand up and walk away like nothing happen.

Pool allows them to do so because Pool passing was really slow and predictable.  Two AM players will go for each Pool player because Pool gave them time to do so. They need to release the ball faster because it is pointless to divert two players only to end up two-vs-one fight with them, which obviously, one AM player will fall and get a free kick.

AM is not really even that good.....but they play with brains knowing they don't have the brawn to match pace for pace.  They are just like a lower rank EPL team but with a clear strategy to kill the rhythm and flow.

AM tactics, 2 solid banks of 4, coupled with their early goal set the tone for the game.

Diego Simeone side, besides discipline and resolute defending, is also good practitioner of the dark arts. Will frustrate, harass, stop the flow and showmanship are all in evident.

All is to play at Anfield!

We switched back to PL.

YNWA.

Pool has not pick up much pace from the last match. Their offside trap play has been so scary which was beaten way too much to my comfort even by Noriwch. I would say this is a lucky win for AM as they didnt have much clear cut chances throughout the game after the lucky goal. MO has been poor recently, didnt have nice short passes and finishing not clinical as well. Now they just need to bring the game home and finish them off.

Never mind, let them bring these clowns along and see how the Anfield's roar drown them.
