Normalcy resumed.

A labored win ( 2 - 0 ) and a clean sheet.

We were flat in first half and things only improved when we made the triple substitution at around the hour mark.

Now on 89 points with another 5 games to go.

When his teamates was near to him, his passes were forceful ubtil ball overshot. When teammates were far, his passes were soft and never reaches them .. :lll._.:

the game showcased the good and the needful for the team.

The game was so flat for 60 min and between the 2 teams, it is reasonable to say that AV looks the more likely to score despite only having ~ 30% possession.  Only after the likes of Firmino, Henderson came on did Pool look more likely to win.

The front 3 can only truly fire off when all 3 play together. Bobby holds the key in the little movements and distracting the opposition teams. When Origi plays thru the centre, both Mane and Salah looks blunt.  Ox didnt have a good game and Keita only improved in the last 30min.  Once Pool played ugly but still carved a win, surely a mark of a title winner.

However, the above can only paper over the obvious weaknesses in the over reliance of the front 3.  it is a proven issue that Origi and Taki are not able to fill in gaps for the front .3.  Kloppp has to find a way to address this issue on a longer run.  Timo Werner could have been a solution but probably financially out of the equation. ...  Klopp still has to find a way nevertheless. The likes of Utd and Chelsea are showing strong late form to close the season and they will come back stronger to challenge next season for sure.

Not only our front 3 is our front 3

our back 5 is also our back 5.

Take out anyone and it doesn't work.

Robbo not playing no penetration on the left.

No Trent no penetration on the right.

No Alisson no security in goal.

No VVD Lorven playing with Matip cannot make it.

No Gomez our defence not water tight.

Liverpool RUN OUT of replica kits after selling 1.7million shirts this season... but New Balance won't make any more despite club's pleas after ending Premier League title drought.

By ALEX MILLER. Daily Mail on Sunday.

Premier League champions Liverpool are set to run out of replica shirts after selling a record-breaking 1.7million this season.

The current New Balance home shirt is the highest selling in their history, so much so that the club is set to run out of them.

Liverpool officials approached New Balance for additional shirts to meet increased demand, following the club ending a 30-year wait to become champions of England.

However, it is understood that the US-based manufacturer won't produce additional new shirts, meaning the club may not be able to fully meet fan demand. The club's online store has a limited selection of shirts.

The relationship between Liverpool and New Balance was soured as the champions won a High Court battle last year, paving the way for the club to sign a five-year deal with Nike starting on 1 August.

The deal was set to start on 1 June, but it was agreed to push it back two months.

Liverpool have achieved record shirt sales for each of the past three seasons, underlining the club's rising popularity under Jurgen Klopp.

The club hope to smash their sales record again next season, with the nike deal set to enable the club to sell through a larger number of global retail outlets.

Nike's partnership could become the most lucrative in Anfield history.

The contract is worth £30m-a-year, guaranteed, which is around £15m less than the bottom line earned from New Balance.

However, agreed add-ons and increased exposure from the Nike brand will see their eventual income dwarf the current £45m a year fee.

Liverpool will bump up their earnings from the deal substantially by taking 20 per cent of all net sales on merchandise around the world.

I did consider buying a jersey for this season. But i prefer to wait for Nike. Not really impressed with the quality of NB/Warrior before this.

Nike jerseys confirm is of better quality.

‘Wijnaldum kind of signing’: Some Liverpool fans want 23yo Argentine, £8k a week current wages.

I am one of them

A number of Liverpool fans have expressed their desire for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds to bring Emiliano Buendia to Anfield in the summer.

The 23-year-old joined Norwich City for a reported £1.5million fee ahead of the 2018-19 season, becoming Daniel Farke’s first summer signing that year.

Buendia has been nothing short of sensational for the East Anglians, tearing the Championship apart last season with eight goals, 12 assists and a lot of high-calibre football.

While it’s been much harder this time round in the Premier League, he not only has seven assists but also notched up his first top-flight goal against Watford on Tuesday evening.

Buendia opened the scoring for Daniel Farke’s side after just four minutes with a curled left-footed effort which Ben Foster could only get his fingertips to.

Sadly for Norwich, the hosts equalised six minutes later through Craig Dawson, before Danny Welbeck sealed all three points with a 55th-minute overhead kick.

The Canaries now sit 10 points adrift of safety with four games to play, so relegation now seems a foregone conclusion.

With so much talent in their ranks, this summer could well see their squad picked apart, and quite a few Liverpool fans like the look of the £8,000-a-week Argentine.
