We have now beaten every team in the league.

Still maintain ogs is a very good manager. Very nostalgic and like to live in the past. Could be a good museum guide.

But today a very good manager.

Turbocharged

Another win, with a clean sheet. 3 points and the unbeaten run continues.

We could have easily scored 5,6......

With 2nd n 3rd n 4th placed teams dropping points, this is a very good week.

The RED Juggernaut continues, YNWA.

16 points ahead.

Beat Wolves and its 19

😛

City play Sheffield Utd on Tues before we play Wolves on Thu.. so, the 1 game in hand will continue on.

The way City play is like Pool in its early days under Klopp. full of attacking power and always seems like going to put 1 or 2 goals everyday. The issue is that the defence is leaky and end up the team starts every game thinking that it has to score at least 2 or 3 goals to get a win. and so it proved again at home versus a resolute Palace team, who only had 5 shots and 3 on target. It scored 2 with its efforts. City had about 25 shots and could only muster the same number of goals.

Pool's win over United was a fair reflection of the game. The truth is that the scoreline flattered Utd without a doubt.  Pool again had to work very hard to secure the win because the front 3 can't seems to put away clear chances. Mane and Salah were guilty of simple chances in the 1st and 2nd half. DDG was also in inspired form with many good saves.  Salah's goal deep in the injury time was more than what Pool deserved and arguably one of his hardest chance in the game to take.

21 win out of 22 games played.  Mathematically, Pool just has to win 10 games out of its remaining 16 games to win the title, while City has to win all its remaining 15 games. Hard to see City do its part as the longest winning streak it has all season is only at 4 games.

We have not played West Ham home or away this season .
Beat them end of this month and we would have completed the collection of beating every single team in the league .

West ham can be a sort of bogey team for Pool.. they took a couple of points off us last season too.  So, it is important not to take things for granted. Something Klopp will increasingly have to manage as the number of games needed win becomes narrower and narrower. However, only until lead becomes mathematically unassailable, then the celebrations can begin.

Mathematically, if we both win all the games till our meeting with Man C in Etihad on 4th Apr, both would play  31 games, Pool on 91, ManC on 72, delta 19 (with 7 games to play)

If we do not lose to Man city in that  4th Apr game (delta 19 or better), points to play for become 18 (6X3).  Hendo can lift the trophy in Etihad. This would be so sweet.

But Man City's fixture looks more demanding, and if they drop enough points, we could do it even earlier. Guard of honour may not be so bad, and we can ride the open top to Etihad instead of the normal coach service.

Ok, back to work and dream later

Two of the most expensive Central Defenders (75 million & 85 million pound)  :ninja:

One scored and the other hardly heard his name during the game....

As I always said, the most expensive central defender (85 million pounds) always played out of positions.... :slow:
