I think there is nothing wrong with allowing a quick free kick to be taken if Brighton did not ask for 10yards. We concede the goal not becos of referee. We concede cos we are naive. Whereas for corner kicks and throw-ins, unless there is another incident, the taker does not need to wait for referee or opponent to be ready.

Yes, Pool was naive. Other referee might wait for the wall to set up before blowing whistle as this is dangerous free kick position. Given Martin ARMPITson record against Pool, he will take any chance to pawn Pool. You can see he blew the whistle quickly while still moving to his desire position.

Not sure what happened between the free kick taker and the referee. Maybe Brighton did not ask for 10 yards so there is no need to waste time. Brighton players probably wanted to take the free kick fast and ask Referee.

But the play already stopped for so long and the wall is building up, it can not be a fast take anymore. Anyway pool won it and show that ARMPIT fellow nothing he do can stop them.
