i was told the expensive ones like eaton, pats could be 1500 after subsidy....

 

my one is $550 after subsidy.

 

pcf and myfirstskool is usually 350 after subsidy.

 

Okay. So the difference compared to mine is 750 bucks. Quite hefty I guess.

 

Wow, I didn't realize mine is considered so expensive.... It's just a neighborhood unbranded childcare.

It's not something we will ever understand. Maybe he doesn't want the child to live knowing the tragedy of the father killing the mother. It can be an emotional torture for life for the child. Or whether the father wants the family to die together. Like I have mentioned it will never make sense simply because the man's sanity has snapped. Something we will never comprehend. Like the other Teo the Johnboy John. Both fathers did the same thing. To be honest I dont really want to know why. The thought itself is too difficult.

But you have not met a pathological liar yet. I've known one before.

They literally live a lie. 

They tell you a lie just because they can. I mean it's so convincing that it took us several years to even understand how much she lied about (other than the normal white lies). 

 

I guess some of these people are scammers. Cos they lie so naturally until it's second nature. It's like the marketing spiel u get from a good salesman, but these individuals (at least the one i met) lie about every single facet of their life. Until even their friends/colleagues don't know what's going on.

 

Err, thought kindergarten has no working mum subsidy i thought?

Only half day childcare.

 

A church kindergarten (morning only) will be around 300-400+. i think some can go up to 500+ (? st james but i can't remember the fees already).

A private kindergarten (1 session only) usually should be below 1k bah. I'm paying around 800+.

 

Half day childcare at the more expensive ones will be around 1200-1300+ or above.

My sis recently asked about a Pat's schoolhouse, full day is now $2k 

 

yeah, i referring to full day preschool (means kindergarten and childcare all rolled into 1).  my elder kids were from pcf and only the 3rd kid eventually went to non pcf centres......my kids pcf (full day were about 3xx after subsidy)

This is indeed a sad case and tragedy.

I really feel sorry for the innocent young girl who get embroiled into adult problem.

 

My personal thought is this....

 

He is already up to the point that there is no way out for him.  Probably death is one option in his mind. 

 

There is no doubt that he love his family especially his daughter.  He may have been already toying the idea of bringing his family with him (death) because he couldn't leave them by themselves if he goes alone.  However there are still some humanity sense in him and still clinging on to the mental support from his wife, days goes on.

 

Until that very day when the argument break off that morning, losing his final support and breaking his last human sense, he decided to execute it.

 

Anyway is just personal thoughts.....

I simply can't comprehend why he would kill the wife when the wife is merely telling the truth. As a married man, you have a responsibility to ur family members and one of those is to bring food to the table. The fact that he gamble away without thoughts for them is already a huge mistake. Worse of all, he expects them to pay for his own mistakes. Might as well wear a skirt if he is reborn next time.

 

It is amusing to see comments on various threads all over the net of people supporting this guy. I think that the main problem with a lot of Singapore guys out there is that while they have extremely huge ego unfortunately most of the time this is not match by their capability.

 

So for those guys out there with ego issue. Learn to reduce ur ego to a tiny dot and this will be much more peaceful country.

 

End of the day, no amount of reasoning is justifiable for taking away of another life. The guy definitely deserve the death sentence without a doubt. Just hang him and dun waste court's time and money.

Some of the earlier articles said the Husband is really quite loving to his family. Honestly everyone has kid, I think everyone loves their kid... however warped his actions, I think he would not have murdered them if he did no love them a lot.... the greatest harm can come from the best intentions, wizards first rule

I did consider Pat's (sembawang golf course) when my girl was choosing 1/2 day childcare vs kindy then. But then liked the kindy that we visited and so never visited there.

 

Some of my girl's future classmates were there actually and transferred out (but that time we didn't know about this). So my conclusion is that it's highly dependent on the teachers at the moment. Of course the expensive ones have more budget to hire better teachers.

 

my wife SAHM. So i pay for everything lol...

My wife just does the legwork and finding the schools/places we shortlisting. Like currently we also looking to change kindy for my son.

No sane father will plan or decide,"son/girl, today you die!". It's too dramatic even for tv.

 

No! Nobody sane will do that. Only the ones that are insane or crazy or snap (no, not Thanos). Stop saying as though ppl will choose or decide to end their children's life. Prease stop saying this already. It's sad enough.

Whatever the reason or motivation, i will say it again and again, please leave the innocent kiddo(s) out of the plan.

 

Please. They are small or young does not mean they have no rights to live on. Leave a part of yourselves to live on for loved ones.

An ego is needed psychologically. Of course everyone has a bigger or smaller ego.

 

I don't think it's a nationality issue. Men are naturally more dominant, women are naturally more submissive in general. 

 

When u are down and out, your ability for risk assessment is also correspondingly impaired. It doesn't absolve you of anything, but I think it's just something we have to understand. People in poverty or facing stress, will make poorer decisions.

That is why I sort of can understand what that guy went through I guess... Especially I am in a much better situation than him... so I can't imagine what it is like for him.

You should read some of the earlier articles which they interviewed the people from the pre school... he supposedly treats his family very nice and attached to his family...

 

I think if those crappy lousy Father who don’t care, he will not murder the kid... he will just leave the family, or exhort money from Wife, etc...
