New times square.... I like all the hustle and bustle of the square.

pity I could not catch it in a better light or at night. That night, after the broadway show, that we were at the square was raining,..

Hope you managed to go to the Museum of Natural History too. One of the best in the world. The movie “Night at The Museum” was based on this museum.

Nice pics.

Nice pics.

I visited the one in washington and quite a few science centers... New york was too tight with time to visit any museum.

Nicely taken photos . I covered the same areas in June as well. 7 days on my own in New York and another 13 nights joining a tour with Trafalgar. Stayed in Hilton Times Square for its convenience and not so much for Times Square, which was too claustrophobic.

Nice photos. What camera are you using and are you using a particular setting or lense to get the perspectives? Or is it just plain old stooping down to get the angle?

was a bit apprehensive at first 10 years ago.... but seriously, facebook also has so many photos... there is no anonymity online.

I just watch my posts in forums as it is not anonymous. don't post stupid things...

The camera is sony A7iii/a7riii. Most of these shots are shot with the 12-24mm and with a very close subject distance (1m?) to emphasis the ultra wide angle effect.

When using an utlra wide, I always need to remind myself to get closer....

Also there is a big effect of shooting from low angle or high angle depending on what you want to achieve.

U are a very talented artist with your camera. Pictures well taken. A good "workman" with a magnificent "tool" (camera).

Someone else with the same camera may not have your gift of details. I always felt many of your pictures are machiam painting sans the frame.

Thanks for sharing precious family pictures with us. We are honoured.

Safe ride

Cheers

thanks for the kind words. My wife went overseas for work so no time to post recently.

I realised I had quite a number of keepers even though I only stayed in NewYork for two nights. Somehow New York just seem "different"

New york subway. I like their street name, just by numbers. 51 street 52, 53etc.

RARE cases when they actually get along...

Washington. This was the first two nights of our trips actually but the pics did not turn out nice. It was really hot and we did not shoot much.

Niagra falls. One thing I noticed is that Canada has totally obliterated the Niagara falls with their hotels and casino right at the falls. USA on the other hand is much more protective of nature.

The first pic is a nice scene but bad photographer.... We went out with too light clothing so the kid and mummy was screaming to go back....

Totally agree with you on Niagara Falls.

Went there several years ago and I much preferred the US side versus the Canadian side. But the view from the Canadian side is nicer because of that.
