Just dropped by the showroom and took some more pics for viewing!

grey has 235/55/19, white has 255/45/20.

I thought the 255 would be too wide but it actually looks good.

Does anyone have a POV on ride comfort and noise between the two? Will it be materially worse on the 255/45 vs the 235/55?

I am eyeing 245/50/18 run flat and I need to go 8J wheels

By the way, are you sure it is 235/55/19 and not 235/50/19?

To me, the 18" wheels look good and in good proportion to the car.

Do you find too big a gap between wheel and arc?

ya agree with u. i think this can fit up to 21'' rims, but to really close the gap will need to change suspension

This is a Suv, guys; the ground clearance of 170 is already on the low side!😉

to be honest, these days, suv/crossover kind of blur the line. those REAL suv like jeep wrangler or land rover need ground clearance to go over rugged terrain

this q3 sportback is more like a3 on stilts and is made to look good. the only real obstacle most will go thru is carpark humps haha

it does make a lot of different between 235/55/18 and 255/45/19 for ride comfort, especially when your tires get older.

Go for 235/50/19 - still very comfortable
