Will be interesting the next round if the number of unsuccessful cat A bids are more than the quota available next round.

Up up up, who wins? Government wins.

Looks rather weak to me.

But still the dealers will increase price this week

Have to squeeze all the FOMO potential buyers as much as possible...

Unlikely those in MCF la, here the ppl too knowledgeable  haha.

Quite certain COE should drop...but since less new car COEs for ADs (they have to increase their profits right?), prices may not drop much

Hope those who didnt get today, will not panic and fall into the TOP-UP game offered by the AD.

From the first page statistics, Every highs always follows by five rounds of lows!

aiyo..33k for cat A, i thought 40k for cat A.

There are ~1000 unfulfilled bids, which is almost the quota for the next bid.

Since COE bidding is not performed by individuals, but the dealers, I suspect they didn't want to be too aggressive with their bids today. Quite sure they already secured bookings more than this current quota, which they can spread out over the next few bids.

The $6K increase this time round can be used to increase the price some more. FOMO buyers will still buy, as "COE will rise some more" in the next few bids. And there might be some buyers who might be asked to "top up" to guaranteed bids?

So expect gradual increases of ~$4K for CAT A in the next few COE bids.
