If a Shuttle hybrid and a Toyota Corolla Fielder hybrid were the same year and same price, which one would you people buy and why?

I'm trying to decide and it may come down to one or the other

OMV $22,000, ARF is $22,800 correct.

VAC = $256.80

Exercise duty fee - 20% of OMV = $4,400

GST - 7% of OMV = $1,540

LTA registration fee = $220

IU = $155.80

LTA processing fee = $26.75

6 months road tax = $341

Accessories (HU $300, leather seats $1,000, solar film $500, rims $500, etc) = estimated $2300

Car cost already = $54,040.35, and using current COE amount is $34,001 (and we know that it will fluctuate), total cost is $88,041.35. Don't forget PI needs to include car comm to salesman, shipping cost of the car, payment to Japan agent, free servicing with the partner workshop, etc.

So yeah, if VES is $10k rebate, you will know how much the PI's buffer for profit.

wow this is good to know

i guess this calculation applies for all car bookings (AD/PI) in Sg?

This are most of the standard stuff and more for PI as shared by my close PI friend. Some ADs may have different mark up price for accessories and free servicing packages but you can always adjust it for the calculation.

Cheers.

My PI makes only around $5k net profit from my Honda Shuttle Hybrid.

Buying from PI gives better value for money than buying from AD.

I agree.

My PI earns around $3.5k net from my Honda Fit 2020 compare to almost $20k profit from AD(Korean car).

There are so many Shuttles now.  Quite often at a traffic light, I see 3-4 of them around me...

Neutral Newbie

Hi all, noob here. Have been looking at honda shuttle the last month and hope can get your views. Sorry but I couldn't start a fresh topic (cos i am noob zero power. Haha.). Never owned a car before as well.

Which would be a better option for me?

- 2nd hand shuttle hybrid registered in 2019 (sgcarnart shows prices ard 82k+)

- new shuttle petrol which I think the price is around 95k?

I am also really confused with the many trims of this model. X, G, Led, keyless etc.

My travel would be ard 54km per day. And for personal usage not phv. This car is also a fit for me cos i like the boot space and for ard this price i dun see many other offerings that interest me (ie i dun like prius and sienta).

Thanks in advance for any help!
