A day in London

Recently I had the chance to travel to the UK for some "work", naturally, I had to extend my stay but unfortunately due to ticketing costs, could only extend it by one extra day. So with that extra day, i headed over for my first visit to London. Here's a writeup of where I went.

I suppose your view, which I liked btw, shows the difference in what people like to see in London depending on their age.

Yes we visited the art galleries which were great but Harry Potter, no way.

We liked Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, a boat ride on the Thames down to the Cutty Sark and Greenwich.

As you say a lot to see and take in.

Nice write up. I used to frequent Bow Wow fairly often when my family and I were living there. I see you have the Hamleys exclusive Playmobil Queen's Guard. 👍

Didn’t like London...maybe it’s the 八字不合.

A1* travelog with brilliant photos to match the neatly crafted writeup.

However, no fish and chips or pork pie (afa Bojo is concerned) is incomplete...oh, their football and opera too.

I've tried many fish and chip shops in the UK.

They are all much better than you can find in Australia.

When we stayed in an AirbNb in West Brompton we tried this place:

https://www.goodchippyaward.com/winner/2019/baileys-fish-chips-fulham/

And it's only a five minute bus ride to Stamford Bridge.  Not that we are Chelsea supporters.

And a sixteen minute bus ride to Craven Cottage.

I agree that the UK has the best fish and chips i have ever had.

Can also try Golden Union off Oxford Street (near Soho) or Golden Chippy @ Greenwich

you must be joking.

i'm living in australia and i still think the F&C is much better and more worth it in the UK. they use proper cod fish in the uk unlike australia which mostly uses snapper or barramundi. unfortunately not to my liking.

Tbh... UK, Aus, SG, the nicer ones mostly taste the same to me. I don't like the UK fat cut fries. Also no chilli sauce.

Nice!

I've been to London like half a dozen times in the last 12 months and never had as much fun or activities as you had 😅
