Unlike Electric Power Steering. Ah... I never had the luxury to touch those vehicles with those heavy hydraulic power steering, closest I came to it was perhaps the very old proton saga...maybe that one no power steering. Thaiyotakamli Supersonic January 21, 2021 Share January 21, 2021 4 hours ago, Rickster said: Yes bro, I'm just jestfully responding to an earlier post using speed and drive as the key considerations to get a Skoda etc. My bottom line. Every buyer has a different profile. What is important to one buyer e.g. speed is not important to another. Not only speed and drive u can feel the design of toyota and lexus, either u like or u hate. Look at the RX and new harrier as example, not all loves their design. even for interior, door opening, toyota somehow lack that feel. Maybe VAG makes more solid feel car

AC temp, Conti cars have to set lower than Jap cars ie 20-21C otherwise not cold so owners who hv not owned a Conti car before, don’t be surprised if you need to set this kind of temperature or even lower to achieve the same level of coolness which u can get at 23-24C in Jap cars. FC, don’t bother to ask cos it will vary depending on driving routes and individual habits. The same car (any car) can get as low as 8-9km/l if u mostly City driving with lots of start stop traffic to a high of 15-16km/l on mostly highway, cruising traffic. I got 12km/l on diesel whilst my fellow same model owners could get 17-18km/l easily. I didn’t bother to ask them why they get so good FC.

I got 12km/l on diesel whilst my fellow same model owners could get 17-18km/l easily. I didn’t bother to ask them why they get so good FC. Agree, there are simple too many factors affecting individual FC such as the route you take, tyre/rim size, heavy footed or not, speed at u drive, ferry whole family or only 1 driver etc. Personally, its quite meaningless to check FC of another fellow driver with the same car. For the past cars I've drove, the FC between city traffic and highway cruising can be very different like > 2x. My current car, if I cruise at 80-85km on the highway for over 20KM, I can achieve 20km/L. If I drive in CBD in peak hr, can go as low as 7km/L. So what this tells me is that, unless u have identical travel patterns and style of driving, it is pointless to compare with other people's FC. For me, I'd take the declared FC and give it a discount of 20-30% and get an estimate of the FC range I can be expecting. Donald83 1st Gear March 7, 2021 Share March 7, 2021 Hi guys, Interested to get a GLB. What are the main differences between the Sport, Premium and Premium plus? Better to get from C&C or PI?
BobbyTan_74287 4th Gear March 8, 2021 Share March 8, 2021 Best to check with PI the differences. Some no keyless entry, smaller screen, no retractable side mirror, no memory seats. PI is overall cheaper a bit. I buy from CnC. ↡ Advertisement
