Aircon shd not be a deal breaker.

At these entry level models, even if have also won't have climatronic, so the amount if air blown out by the blower is the same, just more vents. Some cars also have underseat vents blowing to the rear cabin.

Can any one confirm that this GLB from C&C is without rear aircon vents again. I believe the GLB35 is with one.

I understand the A class and B class by C&C also come without rear aircon and that is driving some buyers to get from PI instead, among other factors.

Can anyone share the reason for C&C to do that? I mean from horse mouth and not hearsay or common sense reason like to cut cost. If is for differentiation with higher variant then bovious is slapping own face as nowadays even a much cheaper jap/korean ride come with one.

Yes, I just booked one unit. GLB200 no rear aircon vent. I believe is to compete with PI on pricing as if put in rear aircon vent, the price will sure go up above $183k. PI cut some model the memory seats but add in rear aircon.

欢喜就好la. I always buy car new from agent. But found my greatest joy in owning my current car bought at 8.5 year old mark. Anyhow park not scared kena scratch. Anyhow rev the engine. No need to wash. Insurance super cheap. Not a care in the world

I was looking for GLC 300 PI models before CB, I notice something about PI sourced car aicond when in outo mode some of cold air goes to from wind screen vent and create condensation on the glass. I think the setting of the climate control is not tropicalized, since UK mostly using heater so front wind screen vent always has some opening in auto setting. This is could be seen easily on the road if any MB with front wind screen with condensation could be PI model, to solve this usually climate control should not run in auto mode.

I always hear people comment no rear aircon also ok as the blower infront can blower to cool down the rear. But the fact is that this apply only to smaller cars, and that the owners would need to up the fan speed of the blowers in front to do the job which will cause the cabin to be noisier. If you set the fan speed to 1 or 2, most likely can barely hear the fan humming, but different story when need to increase it to 4 or 5 because you are considerate for rear passengers. Try it to see if true.

Worse would be the last row if no aircon even for middle row on a hot day. The colleagues or family members asked to get into the last row after the car is parked under hot sun for a few hours will have a lasting impression of you and your car haha.

The AD already set such a high profit margin as is, putting in the rear aircon would still earn quite a bit lah.

This can be solved easily via coding.

My car (non-MB) bought from AD also default Euro.

Code it to Tropical long long ago

The problem no one told me about this issue until I found out myself that's a problem that not all PI will coding it to tropical setting.

Anyway I am  eating my own words getting W213 from CnC even I hate their service, I still can't understand why need to leave car overnight for major service until now.

I am not sure whether your W213 air cond is set to Tropical.

Get a specialist to check.

MCF works damn bad on phone broswer.

Why PI doesn't have electric/memory seats? I see have it. What are you comparing it with?

The sports vs progressive? Or Premium + vs Progressive?

Is you car with thermotronic Aircon? If yes check with MB VIN decoder wheter it's tropicalized.

For my Bread and Butter car, cant be bothered with all that “ownership experience” and pre or post sales patronizing talk from AD.

Just buy from PI, cheaper, higher spec, less waiting time.    Any workshop also can do.  Parts easily available.

Exactly what i would do too. Cheaper better faster FTW.
