yeah, cabstar drinks... 3L engine... Company i worked for has a few unit. In fact, Kia K2500 has more power than cabstar and drinks the same amount.

Somehow, lorry engine is not tuned for fuel efficiency.

The latest Cabstar is 2.0 Petrol Engine..

Should not be divided by tank capacity but rather distance traveled over volume of petrol pumped. So yours should be around the 13km/l range.

Otherwise not much better than a 2l NA car 😁

oh ya i typically pump ~40litres full tank also... the FC quite bad...

It's an ancient 4 speeder, that's why. The newer 2L engines paired with CVT are slightly more efficient.

Neutral Newbie

2018 i30 wagon. 1.4turbo

75% hw, 25% city

fuel tank capacity 50l. pump autocut at 43l.

usually travel ard 600+km before low fuel light comes on, remaining ard 40 to 50km.

trip computer claims ard 15 to 16km per liter.

distance divide by pump volume = ~14km per liter

2009 Honda Civic FD2A

So far after trying many times cant seem to get more than 400km on a full tank. One time drive until fuel reserve light came on only drove about 330 km.

I admit to have heavy right foot and drive in sports mode occasionally on the highways which is addictive but not good for fuel consumption😅

Estimate 8.5- 9km per litre of petrol.

Last refuel 36.452L of fuel ( Caltex 95) , distance drove 310km 😒

70% city- 30% highway.

2009 Avante Manual.

90% city 10% highway,  pump around 48 litre gets around 650km.

95% highway 5% city, same amount of fuel gets around 880km.

About 90% light footed.

Hi, we have all heard of various cars and their respective FC blah blah blah, but alot of them are hearsay or heard from someone from internet of review or from internet. And i realized not all the time these hearsay or myths are accurate.

Example,

i used to drive the old Nissan Sunny, before i buy, i already heard many hearsay or comments from internet saying it is a heavy petrol drinker. But for me, after buying it, i usually pumped 33-35litre of full tank, and i can cover average about 400-420km. It wasn't that bad actually right?

And now i am driving Elantra, 2011 model. Full tank about 40-42litre...and i can cover 520km per full tank. I don't consider this very good.

How about you guys? What car you driving and how much you spent every full tank and how much can it cover you?

When you guys say "x"% city and " y"% highway, is it distance or time?

Let me share my 冷门 Honda Stepwagon Spada 1.5T FC which is surprisingly frugal. I have pumped 3 times, each time getting slightly more 600km with 47L to 50L of petrol.

Same route same pattern my previous B180 can only get 10.x km/L. Mind you this is a much bigger and heavier car at 1700kg.
