I believe the 黑豆干 in the picture is 黑色的豆干 and not 黑豆做的豆干 😅 and in fact is 滷豆干。

I like them, in the old days my amah liked to fry the yellow and black ones with vegetables and shredded pork. But nowsaday they don't taste the same anymore

Buy this Black Tau Kwa....cut them into small pieces....mix with this canned minced meat.....heat it up.....very nice.....

Black bean curd should be made from black soya bean, not black turtle bean.

Apparently :

In the West, black bean = black turtle bean

In the East, black bean = black soya bean
