Have you any idea how tough it is for 2nd timers who applied back in 2015 to 2017 (and would be collecting keys right about now) to get a BTO? Correct me if I am wrong but at that time 95% of BTOs were reserved for 1st timers. So most collecting their keys for the BTOs are 1st timer newly weds who don't have an existing resale HDB to dispose off. Anyway resale HDB market is already dropping since 2014. It's those almost new HDBs (more than 90 year lease left) that have just completed their MOP that are pushing up the HDB resale prices recently.
