5 years can full paid their 500k hdb! :o So what other source of income stream they have which can generate so much cash? Sell backside? 😂

Can lah DINK.  Say each earn 5K plus 13th month plus bonus 3 months that's 150K. Add in Employer CPF.  Just don't spend more than 50K a year. No car no expensive vacations. It's worth it.

Seems like quite easy le, only need dual income of each earn 5k and plus another 4 months bonus can full paid 500k hdb within 5 years. 😂

Another HDB resale which spent so ex for renovation. I really curious how come people have so much cash on hand? I think the max amount that you can loan for renovation is not high.

Can afford to buy a big unit resale cash should be ok, at 1561 sqft reno 100+k about there, maybe also no need any reno loan. 😉

unless i missed it, i am very surprised that for such a production, there is no mention of how to try to beat this rental scam .. by independently do a search on the ownership of the flat ..

all the talk about how to spot whether the messages or ads are fake is less important to me that finding out the real owner ..

if scammer poses as real agent and asks a prospect to pay something up front .. the question is who did the prospect pay to .. check the ownership .. if it is paid to the actual owner ..

agents do not collect money in their names .. anyway if the scammer is using a real agent's name then did the prospect pay to the real agent then? if so still have chance to recover, if not the prospect should have asked who is this guy i am sending money to right?

With the current red hot rental market, when one unit comes up got dozens vying for it, many kanchiong spiders quick to pounce whenever an unit available, even more so if rental rates attractive or deem reasonable, scammers are preying on exactly that.

Besides verification of agent landlord details, payment should always be addressed to landlord only either via cheque or E transfer to have a paper trail. Red flag if request to pay agent direct, even bigger red flag if request for ca$h only payment which is a big no-no.

As always not just due diligence, the usual when too good to be true also applies.

‘What’s the point of giving you few dollars here & there, but so many policies & actions are inflationary?’ — Netizen on Govt’s response to inflation

In his post, he listed ten different examples. Included in the list were the GST hike and the increase in property tax, CPF contribution ceiling, ERP, public transport fares, and fuel tax. Increased HDB and BTO prices "to record highs" were also included.
