I have registered my number with DNC registry and still receiving unsolicited calls and messages...your help and advice will be greatly appreciated

Like most gahmen promoted things here, it's all BS. 

I've been getting a ton of spam too, the female automated Chinese speaking voice is the most irritating. They've started calling from apparently local numbers too, so can't even claim it's beyond the gahmen's jurisdiction.

DNC only regulates legitimate business, stopped them from texting or calling you.

Illegitimate or illegal business, they will refer you to police (black hole).

Yeah.. DNC registry doesn't care about illegal moneylenders or overseas scams. 

These are under SPF's jurisdiction, and I suspect these pokemons are way too many for our  Police to catch 'em all.

Ever since sing health kena hack I been getting tons of money lending SMS. Even got a phone call ask me to borrow money. Confirm is illegal one lor.

That’s not spam .. that is a scam and as no money is transacted , it’s classified as nuscence where no law has been broken

It hits me in my sore spot. When it's a human voice, I always yell "CCB" (full version) and hang up. Unfortunately dialect non-speakers probably won't understand it I guess. 😂

Using Settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Phone.
3. Tap Call Blocking & Identification.
4. Scroll down and tap Block Contact.
5. Select a contact to block.

Using the Phone App

1. Open your Phone app.
2. Tap Recents.
3. Tap ⓘ next to a number you want to block.
4. Scroll down and tap Block this Caller.
5. Tap Block Contact.

Cannot deter them from calling, but at least I stop them from calling me back again. 😂

The numbers are spoofed. They'll just call with a different number.

I've blocked more than 100+ numbers and counting. Still I get them almost daily

I too have been receiving calls and messages as well. The most recent ones claimed to be from Changi Airport and DHL, both male and female voices! All are recorded voices. At least when there are people at the other end, we can F them before putting down!🤣 Messages are mostly offering loans and gambling ones! The cops should be aware of it and it should be quite easy to trap them!

I also receive leh.  Recently a lot.  A lot of money lending messages and some property messages.

You can complain.
