Interesting discussion between Ma and Musk recently on AI...

JM - AI is Alibaba Intelligent

EM - “AI” is Love?

Ma not concerned about job loss but reallocation of jobs...why explore space when it’s better to fix earth...Musk sees the need to go AI...don’t miss the window to explore Mars for rehabilitation...just in case...

Interesting? My god, Jack Ma came off as a moron next to Elon Musk.

I guess, in that sense, it was interesting. It proved once again that you don't need a towering IQ to be successful at business (but Trump already proved that so...). 😂

For me AI cannot come fast enough.

They should replace managers with AI.

Managers are expensive, talk a lot of nonsense and always don't know what to do.

Workers are cheap no need for expensive AI to replace us.

:D

But James...

Judging by the way you talk.

You must be a manager.

Really, really top level manager too.

I am very grateful to my MIL.

She taught me how to deal with difficult people.

After meeting her no one is difficult anymore.

😀

Being a top level manager like you, I can also give management lessons.

They're very simple. All just logic based, really.

You see...managers are the number one producers of institutional excrement.

And top managers are the greatest producers of this excrement.

So a naive person might think it's horrible to be top managers like us. But they would be mistaken.

Because if you're going to live in a pile of excrement.

The best place is right on top.

And some other naive people might pity the ground workers most of all. But they would also be mistaken.

Because on the ground, you're only surrounded by excrement on top of you.

It's the middle managers that deserve pity.

They're surrounded by excrement on all sides.

So tragic.

Job seeker and employer hurl vulgarities, insults at each other during epic text convo

A youth and a man got into a heated disagreement during a text conversation that culminated in them hurling vulgarities at each other.

Stomper Farhana, 23, had been speaking to the man over a flyer distributor job.

She shared screenshots of their conversation and told Stomp on Thursday (May 12): "Hi! My name is Nurul Farhana and I'm 23 years old. I live in Bukit Merah and I wanted a flyer distributor job.

"I contacted this uncle who appeared to be so rude."

In the screenshots, Farhana can be seen asking about the job location and saying that she preferred Tiong Bahru because it's nearer to where she lives.

The job poster can be seen taunting Farhana by saying: "No wonder at 23 still no job" and "If I am you, I will go to (the) top floor and jump down now."

In return, Farhana threw out some insults of her own and blocked the man.

She told Stomp: "I didn't want to curse him but he did it first. so I threatened to sue him. I called him and again, he was so rude to me. I hope you can publish this story."
