Yah can see that cam car was unwilling to give way but eventually gave it unwillingly.  But what the BM did was quite risky, had the cam car accelerated, he would have to choose between the lorry or the cam car. 😅

yup make no mistake still a risky move for the bmw.

From a cam car pov, bmw driver can be an ass to drive recklessly, but yet others like himself can simply just back down and ensure other's safety, if he chose to.

This one I blame the contractors on the right side for not putting up any impending works 500m away from where they are

turn some more..

I just had a near miss last Tuesday.. Also from a turning taxi.  I was on the right turning lane when the turning arrow flashed the second time and since I was not rushing,  I just stopped.

But a cab came on my left side which was a straight road and made a sharp right turn in front of of me after the after the green arrow flashed for the third time.

If I had decide to make the turn after the second flash,  I think sure got accident liow as we both would be turning into a single lane.

Huh? put the road sign half a kilometre away?

Its just not practical what he says

500 metres away is like putting the road sign 1500 feet away.

Red light is only a recommendation not a rule.

This is why I don't go full tilt through junctions anymore.

Not because Singaporeans are unreliable drivers.

Rather that I can absolutely rely on at least one idiot to spoil my day if I'm not driving defensively.

Its true, in Aust, the signs and cones are at least 500m from the work site and 40km/h start to kick in from where the sign starts and few hundred meters after, then normal speed limit resumes.
