italy super dark horse. almost 0 stars in their team to speak of.

spain in home to 2 of the biggest team, but no real in the current spain side.

england as alway over hype. talk until all super stars, but when u watch them play is like sg kampong soccer. no flair to speak off, play ugly long ball and physical soccer only.

This England team is much stronger than 3 years ago at WC 2018 but the worry is the defence esp if Maguire is not fit. Southgate may play 3 at the back to compensate for Maguire’s absence.

over all slightly better then 2018 wc team.

but 1 time can only field 11. there is not much different expect for a few young talent.

the thing is i dun see improvement in their game play. if u watch england game u will know. dun know how to describe , i think its in their culture already , they cannot play procession and flair football .

maybe i bias, even the current italy can play better football .

its the key reason why no england manager manage to win any major trophy at club or internaional stages.

Generations of England supporters hv been let down by the 3 Lions. I hope it would different this year or else the wait goes on. 1966 till now is a 55 year wait.......

Think France will be the favourites followed by Italy who is currently on form. England looks good on paper but there will always be a penalty shootout in this tournament and they will certainly lose on penalties.

Rumour is Walker Stones Shaw will be the back 3.

So likely Pickford Trippier Walker Stones Shaw Chilwell Rice Foden Mount Grealish Kane.

its a short tournament, very hard to say, who would have thought greece and portugal could have won also.

i wont do any betting . too hard to make any guess or predictions😐

Penalty shoot outs has been England’s achilles for many tournaments but they did beat Colombia on penalties in the last WC 2018 2nd Round. It’s a mental thing as they have accomplished penalty takers at club level like Kane, Rashford but they need quite a few others to step up.

Actually its not really short as the Finalists will play 7 games in total like the World Cup but its true that an outsider can and have won Euros before unlike WC where almost always one of the established nations will win it.

if they really want play back 3, i would put walker james ( right side) ,stone, Henderson. chilwell ( chilwell and james play 1/2 season with 5 at the back, they more experience then shaw and the rest of the full back at that area i think.

mount as dm foden and  Jack Grealish or rice as dm with foden and mount in 3 man mid

i am not convince by rashford and sancho, ( saw a few game by sancho for england, look normal only)

Southgate likes a double pivot which in normal cases would hv been RIce n Henderson but the Pool Capt has not played for few mths so he will likely not be risked as he will not be match fit. Trippier is good at dead balls so I sense he will get the nod over James. England’s best dead ball specialist Ward Prowse is not chosen for this tournament.

Rashford is carrying an injury though he claims he is fit and Sancho has not been consistent playing for England hence the wide players likely to be Foden n Grealish. Mount likely to play off Kane and be the box to box midfielder ahead of the only DM Rice. This my theory only, let’s see on Sunday when the team sheets are out.

a double pivot is 2 dm?  this formation is very similar to what JM love. which i think not england str.

i think they need to be adventurous for this euro. not go the cautious way, so many years of being cautious , but drag to pen also lose.

look at their weakness and str in their players,  dun have many good defenders at all also....

Yes double pivot is 2 DM. If England play with 4 at the back then they will play double pivot (Phillips of Leeds is the other DM in the squad) but if they use 3 at the back then perhaps a single DM will suffice.
