Nowadays where got such specialist? Anyone can open a workshop and call themselves specialist.

Yes and no.

Those graduates from ITE are train on audi .

So , the hands on for VAG cars are transfer to real life.

Probably may not be that advance, but close enough to know how to diagnose.

And those that caught on during the 2006 onwards and start to work on VAG cars for their workshops are now making good money ...

Servotronic told me to change engine mounting, also 4 figures of high 3 figures. Not sure why all these workshop cannot try the basic troubleshooting.

Ended up, I went to clean up throttle body for $30. Solved all problem, thank you to google.

i can't agree more. The good is this specialist cannot guarantee their repair recommendation will solve your problem on 1st time. Only $$ + $$...

Like I said,  there are no specialist workshops in  spore.  All self proclaimed. Mostly are out to chop carrot. Choose your workshops carefully.

Just make sure the extended warranty is honored. Some other AD says that catalytic converters are not covered under factory warranty. I don’t see how one can abuse a catalytic converter other than ramming it against a hump to damage it. If it fails it means that it’s a factory defect!
