Think this is quite a poorly written article lol.

I will list some presentations that maybe less obvious signs of stroke. Of course, there maybe different causes of the presentations below which are not related to stroke

Obvious
1. Numbness/weakness of 1 side of body
2. Slurred speech
3. Drooping Face
4. Fainting (cannot rouse patient or persistently drowsy afterwards)

Not so obvious (especially for elderly)
1. Suddenly unable to do simple things like dress yourself, write words
2. Elderly begin to fall frequently at home with balance problems
3. Persistent unusual giddiness/headache
4. Temporary loss of vision in one eye
5. Sudden confusion for elderly

One of my ex colleague was struck three times in the office. The obvious signs No 2 and 3 were clearly seen by others while he himself did not know! In addition, he also salivated.

The video thumbnails below the article are making me stroke.

(up down up down...) 😂

Ohm I didn't pay attention to that. So they are the distractions!

Is the link attachment showing all the photos of compromising women stroking me ?? 🤣.

I think the article is not well written

Agree that it is  not well written. Just for simple, fast recognition of the signs.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FAST_(stroke)

In short, just remember FAST

F - facial drop

A - arm weakness

S - slurred speech

T - when did it happen / time to call for ambulance

As long as any of the FAS happens, call for an ambulance.  It might be a false alarm but if it were really a stroke, time is of the essence that's why I put T to include when did it happen.

Timing I dun wanna commit cos sometimes the timing change when new research comes out and of cos the time you started noticing  the symptoms might not be the time the symptoms actually occurred so you might think it just happened but on investigation it happened a few hours already...

I admit... I did not really read the initial post or go to the link.... I just felt it was necessary to debunk fake news that some hospitals are not equipped to deal with such an issue.

Good thing I did not come across the fake news before my mother got a minor stroke two months back.... Else would have wasted precious time.
