Hahaha, just saw this exact same car when fetching my wife from work moment ago.

Not only the $150K asking price, it's annual road tax of $1494 (equivalent to that of a 2.3L petrol driven model) is also a killer. In comparison, a 1.4TL Turbo Charged Golf/Octavia/Ateca has a road tax payable of "just" ~$624 p.a.

Its called a Mitsuoka Nouera, based on a CL7 Honda Accord with the famed K20/K24 engine.

I drove my colleague's Kona Electric in the carpark today. 

The torque and instant throttle response is amazing. WOT and the wheel spins and the car surges forward.

Build quality is very good and doesn't feel low rent.

This makes a good city car. Too bad I don't stay landed 😌

For this money I will get  Sorento  turbo diesel, with more than 400 Nm of torque. Big space some more.
